"Out of the Box"

Today was dedicated to thinking "out of the box" and letting our creativity take over!

We ate lunch at the Savannah park and then walked to the library to see Professor Owlbert Eyeshine, a scientist who studies nocturnal animals!

Professor Owlbert Eyeshine

We learned a lot about animals that are more active during the night such as bats and many owls found in Wisconsin!

We had delicious root beer floats for our afternoon snack and designed our own Zentangle hands!

We also played a variation of kickball called Aerobic Kickball in the gym - to avoid the heat!!!

Although everyone was tired after their first day of summer school we had a lot of fun and even learned a little bit! :)

Tomorrow is "Backwards Day" so get ready to do things a little backwards and silly!
