Last Field Trip and The Best of the Best

Thursday was our last field trip of the summer! Changes had to be made on the trip because of the weather. The campers went to UW Farms and Skate Express. They were able to learn a little bit about how a Dairy farm was ran on the UW Farms tractor tour, and also played roller skating games at Skate Express. Friday was the last day of summer day camp. The campers were able to participate in an auction created for them to use the pointed they earned through out the summer on different prizes. They played a couple of their favorite games of the summer, did the bubble gum/ whip cream challenge, voted for and watched Horton Hears a Who, and ate Funfetti Cake dip.

We had a wonderful summer and are so glad we could spend that time with your campers. Thank you to all the parents that showed their support, we couldn't have done it without you! We hope you all have a great school year!

Masters, Neon Day, and Dirty Dash

Monday the campers were able to master different challenges that they were given. They also made their own crown to wear while they completed these challenges. During craft time they also made popsicle stick puzzles and had their friends try them out. The campers also played Moon Ball and played until there was one camper left to be crowned the master. They also wrote one last entry in their journals about their favorite thing at camp. The campers also took a trip to Bike Wisconsin, where they learned about the masters of biking. On Tuesday the campers celebrated all things neon! They played color tag, made colorful foil fish, played steal the bacon, and went swimming at the CAP pool. On Wednesday the campers were able to play in the dirt! They played stuck in the mud, made plant pals, played no out kick ball, and had free time in the computer lab.

Tomorrow, We will be going to Duck Creek Campground. Please send your camper with their swim suit, towel, camp shirt, and lunch. 

Jump Around and Relax/ Recharge

Thursday the campers got to show their Wisconsin Badger spirit with the theme Jump Around. They made Bucky Badger masks, played some Bucky Badger games in the computer lab (buckysbuddies.com), went for a penny scavenger hunt, and played ultimate football. Friday the campers were able to take some time to relax before the weekend. They played river race in the gym, made stress balls, learned different relaxation exercises, watched Frozen, and made melted Olaf snacks.

Picasso's Playground, Camp Mash Up, and Rio 2 and Goodman Pool

Monday the campers got to channel the artist inside of them during Picasso's Playground. The campers made sponge paint art, played a post- it note body part game, Man from Mars, and Color Guard. Tuesday the campers mixed things together with camp mash up. They made flying snakes with many different colors, played soccer football, steal the bacon, picked whatever math games they wanted to play, and went to the CAP pool. Wednesday was field trip day! The campers went to see the movie Rio 2 and then went to the Goodman Pool to swim in the sun.
