Dane County Fair and Camp Out Day

Thursday the campers went and explored the Dane County Fair! They were able to see many types of animals such as: piglets, cows, horses, chicks, and sheep. They had a great time petting the animals and checking out the different businesses in the exhibition hall. Friday the campers got in touch with their wild side! They made camp fires during craft time, watched Tarzan, and went to the splash park.

We had a great week at camp! Next week is our last week of half days and we have many fun things planned. We hope you all have a good weekend.

Star wars, Top Chef, and The Great Outdoors

Monday the campers channeled the force! They made light saber pencils, Star Wars foam, and played light saber tag. The campers were also able to learn about different kinds of animals from the Zoo mobile that came to the library. Tuesday the campers became Top Chefs. They made fruit frog sculptures and played egg relay races in the gym. Also, they went swimming at the Cambridge Pool. Wednesday the campers explored The Great Outdoors. They colored leaves, went on a scavenger hunt, played capture the flag, and went on some nature websites (see links bellow) during computer time.
