Pay It Forward, Creation Station, Ninja Warrior, Field Trip, Camp Sleepover

The weather to the start of the third week was a little rainy, but the skies cleared up on Monday and the campers were able to walk to the pavilion to watch the presentation the library had set up.  The campers watched KG And The Ranger politely as the cowgirl and cowboy twirled a lasso in a circle and sang songs.  Volunteers even got the chance to try the lasso themselves! On the walk back to the school we stopped at Savannah Park for 15 minutes.  When back at the school, the campers got to play amoeba tag!

On Tuesday the campers went to the Cambridge Area Pool again, and got to play with the familiar toys, including the Wibbit slide and the Wibbit bridge to walk across.  Some of the campers also like playing with the basketball hoop in the deep end.  When we got back to the school the campers got to relax by visiting the computer lab.

On Wednesday the campers went bowling as usual.  When we got back to the school the campers made ninja stars out of cardboard and played ninja games in the gym.

On Thursday the campers went on their field trip to the Monona Pool.  This pool  had a diving board, giant slide, and even a separate little pool where the really young campers could wade in the shallow water. When we got back to the school we played games in the gym as one whole group.  The campers played musical Red-light Green-light, and Don't Get Stuck in the Mud.

Friday was a fun day at camp! The campers got to make forts in the gym, and then watched the movie, "Bedtime Stories" from their forts.  They even got a special treat during snack time- popcorn! After the movie the campers got to go to Savannah Park and visit the splash pad.  The weather was a little cloudy, but that never stops them from playing in the water!
