Surprise!, Legoland, Summer Safari, Field Trip, Camp Throwdown

On Monday the theme was Surprise! so the campers had no idea what was going to happen! They played a game in the gym where a partner instructed their blindfolded teammate to find a ball and bring it back to their cone.  The campers also got to play a little dodgeball.  The craft for today was building a birthday hat out of toothpicks and marshmallows. As usual, the campers went to the library and received a goody bag. Then for snack, the campers frosted and decorated their own cupcake. Some got a little messy! To top the surprise day off, the campers had a dance party in the gym.

On Tuesday the campers created a sun catcher.  Then they did a team building activity, by using legos to build something together.  The campers also played castle dodgeball, and visited the Cambridge Pool.

On Wednesday the campers played a game where they were given a clue, and they had to determine what animal fit the clue.  The campers also went bowling as usual, and made animal masks when they got back to the school.

On Thursday the campers took a tour of Miller Park Stadium in Milwaukee.  We split into two groups and had two amazing tour guides.  The campers got to walk on the field, sit in the visitor's dugout, sit in the press box, and learn many cool facts!

On Friday the campers had a special guest.  Jordan Winkler and his father brought in exotic animals to show the campers, and they even got to touch some of them! The campers also did an obstacle course, watched The Lego Movie, played water games outside, and went to the splash park!
