Green Thumbs, Splish Splash, Game Show Mania, Field Trip, Mission Celebrate

On Monday the campers were very earth-friendly.  The campers planted grass seed in ice cream cones, then picked up trash all around the outside of the school.  The campers also got to play some games in the gym while the volleyball nets were up.

On Tuesday the campers played water games outside, and went to the Cambridge Pool as usual.

On Wednesday the campers played games that have been seen on game shows, such as Minute to Win It! The campers also went bowling.

On Thursday the campers visited Goodman Youth Farm in Madison.  While there, the campers picked vegetables and cooked with them.  The campers also made salsa, and got to learn from a bee keeper about bees and honey.  After lunch, the campers went to the Aviation center where they got to sit in planes.

On Friday the campers watched a movie and played games in the gym.  The campers were also visited by an old favorite staff member, Kaity!

Hunt-Fish-Camp, Wipeout, Arty Party, Field Trip, Super-Summer

On Monday the campers colored in a rainbow fish and made their own trail mix.  The craft today was creating a duck call out of straws.  The campers also got to fish, read, and play in the computer lab.

On Tuesday the campers had a very fun time playing with the parachutes.  They also did a timed obstacle course outside, and did a potato sack race. Just like every Tuesday, the campers went to the Cambridge Pool, and ended the day with a little dodgeball.

On Wednesday the campers paid it forward.  They cleaned the gym and storage for the gym teacher, Mr. Wepking.  Then the campers painted water color pictures for the seniors to use for placemats at their lunch at the Community Center on Thursday.  The campers had some fun, especially when they got to create outfits out of toilet paper.  The campers also went bowling today, and played a couple games in the gym.

On Thursday the campers took a quick tour of Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, and they got to go out on the field! Future Badgers possibly? The campers also went to MadTown Twisters and had a blast!

On Friday the campers had to stay in the gym our outside while the lunch room floors were being waxed.  The campers traced bodies, played Jump the Brook, Limbo, watched the movie, Sky High, and went to Savannah Park.
